Annamaria Ajmone & Laura Agnusdei

Annamaria Ajmone is a dancer and choreographer. She holds a degree in Modern Literature from the University of Milan and graduated from the Paolo Grassi Civic School of Theatre. Her research explores movement and states of presence, conceiving choreography as a situated and collaborative practice in relation to the body, space, and context. She presents her work at international festivals and institutions, including La Biennale Danza di Venezia, brut Vienna, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Triennale Milano, and Santarcangelo Festival. In 2015, she received the Danza&Danza Award for Best Emerging Contemporary Performer. From 2016 to 2023, she curated Nobody’s Indiscipline, an independent platform for the exchange of practices and research, and from 2021 to 2024 she was an associated artist at Triennale Milano Teatro. In 2026, she has been invited to the Italian Pavilion of the Venice Biennale Arte, as part of Chiara Camoni’s exhibition.

Laura Agnusdei is a Bologna-based saxophonist and electronic musician. Her solo project explores the possibilities of electroacoustic composition, creating soundscapes in which the saxophone remains the main narrative voice. Suspended between melody and timbral research, remnants of song form and flashes of improvisation, her music blends different sound sources—acoustic, digital, and analogue. Following her debut with Night/Lights, released in 2017 by the British label The Tapeworm, her first album, Laurisilva, was released by the same label in November 2019. The album invites listeners to explore an imaginary landscape made up of sounds that proliferate and layer themselves like living organisms in a forest. In 2021, she created the site-specific project UBI CONSISTAM, focused on the sonic exploration of Bologna and published as a book by Via Industrie, with graphic storytelling by Giulia Polenta accompanying six audio tracks dedicated to six different locations across the city. In 2023, she released Goro on Maple Death, a work inspired by Pastoraccia’s graphic novel Quasi nessuno ha riso ad alta voce. In January 2025, the same label released her album Flowers Are Blooming in Antarctica, poised between post-exotica, spiritual jazz, and post-apocalyptic science-fiction landscapes.
