Federico Nardella develops his musical and artistic practice around the hyper-amplification of inaudible sounds, exploring the boundary between silence and noise. Through acoustic micro-events, vibrations, and rustles, he creates unstable sonic scenarios in which listening becomes a tool for investigating the invisible soundscape of everyday life.
Hissed Syntax is his first entirely acoustic project, a study of organ pipes installed on a self-built instrument that, by its very nature, is imperfect and resonates in a precarious state of balance.
He collaborates with numerous artists and musicians and has worked on soundtracks for Italian and international films.
He was the curator of Ek Dam, a series dedicated to electroacoustic improvisation. In 2025, he founded the collective Seriale Obliquo.
