Romeo and Stefano are two personalities at opposite ends of the spectrum: the former is impulsive, ironic and charismatic, while the latter is methodical, thoughtful and inclined to control.
The two find themselves stuck because of an unexpected one-hour train delay. This unforeseen interval becomes the starting point for a surreal adventure that catapults them into an episode of the famous game show Wheel of Fortune.
Here, they face a series of grotesque trials and challenges bordering on the absurd, and perform technically demanding acrobatic feats, interspersed with moments of comedy at a fast pace.
This sequence of twists and turns gives rise to a collective story about dreams, precariousness and the everyday ability to adapt, seen through the eyes of those who have managed to transform all of this into art.
The show aims to awaken in the audience a renewed awareness of two essential values in life: friendship and fun—both of which are constantly deprived of time by commitments and external expectations.
Everything unfolds through a parodic approach, transforming the staging of a television game-show episode into a delicate narrative device, capable of opening up alternative paths beyond society’s established dogmas.
The train delay, the trigger for the story, sparks the true dramatic conflict: the difficulty of reconciling what we want to do with what everyday routine demands of us.
Without being preachy, the show suggests that the quality of our work and relationships also depends on our ability to allow ourselves moments of freedom and play.
