IL GIOCO DELL'OCA

This life-size Game of the Goose was created through a collaboration between Collettivo Clochart and Anffas Trentino Onlus, through the Articà artistic workshop. It is the symbol of the 2026 edition of the theatre festival Cura il Futuro, dedicated to the theme Adaptability — Earth, Water, Sky.

Following a series of workshops with the young participants, the desire emerged to involve them actively in the Cura il Futuro festival, giving them the opportunity to contribute directly to its development. This idea led to the creation of a game designed to welcome the audience: a space for meeting and playing, where children and their accompanying adults can have fun while waiting for the performances to begin.

The game board follows the structure of the traditional Game of the Goose and features 19 coats of arms of municipalities across Trentino. These are municipalities with which we collaborate and which, year after year, host the festival’s performances, becoming part of a cultural network spread throughout the region. The board evokes ideas of travel, movement and the ability to move between different worlds, much like the festival itself, which continues to travel across territories, communities and diverse artistic languages.

The game therefore represents much more than a simple moment of entertainment: it is the result of a participatory process that celebrates creativity, collaboration and a sense of belonging to the community. An invitation to play, discover the local area and share the time spent waiting, transforming it into an opportunity for connection and inclusion.
