PINOCCHIO DI QUA E DI LÀ

Pinocchio is perhaps one of the best-known characters in the world.

More or less everyone knows his story and knows how stubborn and disobedient he was, that he had no desire to study and that, above all, he loved wandering around and doing nothing all day long.

Not everyone, however, knows that Pinocchio also went on a very adventurous journey, and this is precisely what this show is about.

Pinocchio tells of having been to fantastic places and of having met strange characters and things, sometimes bizarre, sometimes wonderful.

Will we believe Pinocchio’s words, or will they turn out to be more lies?

Who knows? Only at the end of the show will we be able to judge.

Created entirely through drawings and animations of objects and silhouettes, this show takes us into Pinocchio’s world on a journey through places and characters described in Collodi’s novel, revisited in a simple style, where images and music are at the heart of the storytelling.

Dario Moretti animates and performs the show using a camera and a video projector.

The images projected onto a large screen are narrated and interpreted by the artist himself, accompanied by original music by Saya Namikawa.
