NON-VERBAL: A sound-based and visual performance, with no text.
Dàula – Al di là del mare is a sensory journey that explores the evocative power of the sea, opening it up to the imagination. A space that invites listening, cradles and welcomes us; allowing us to grow with respect for others.
What lies beyond the horizon? Why does a boat float while a stone does not? The sea can divide, but it can also bring us together.
In a suspended and poetic atmosphere, two actress-singers create a landscape made of traditional Arabic songs, Italian nursery rhymes, evocative sounds and simple materials. Each element—a sheet of paper, a stone, a piece of wood, a voice—transforms, inviting young spectators to listen actively and discover.
Through a theatrical language that combines physical theatre, object manipulation and live singing, the performance builds a bridge between cultures, bringing children closer to others in an emotional and playful way.
A delicate and profound experience that celebrates curiosity and reminds us that, ultimately, we are all in the same boat.
